Rebellious Thoughts #64 - 🤘 This is the last one

Edition #64

Hey Rebels!

As always, I promise to provoke you in less than 5 min once a week so that you can stay adaptable and on top of your game.

YEW!

Let’s get into today’s:

So… last newsletter for the year.

Last week was a mess so I couldn’t do it… and this week is not much different!!!

Not in a bad way, just end-of-the-year shenanigans - we all fall into a state of desperate completion… we want to “finish” everything before the end of the year! Haha… when the sun finally decides to call the quits I hope it’s at the end of the year so it’s kinda nice and tidy… most of the world would have “finished” whatever they were working on!….

In the last few months, I have had the wonderful gift of hearing back from people I haven’t seen in a while, whom I coached or mentored years ago, and hearing about their achievements and progress.

It is… categorically… one of the most rewarding things I do… when some of my tips or advice or influence or energy helps someone unlock their own potential…. its’s amazing.

It’s not as if I do the push-ups for them, they of course are responsible for it all… but giving them a pep talk or a push or a gentle reminder is a real privilege.

Have a look at this company…. kaikofidgets.com - I helped Kai with his pitch recently (he won ;-) and got an update… they are a thoughtful business with a wonderful purpose, product and service to match. Who would have thought 6-7 years ago they would get to where they are today?! Amazing....

Message from Kai’s mom.

You def should learn more about Kai:

Or Yaz! In the pic below with me a few days ago… he is now killing it leading the Australian arm of this company momence.com - same, 6-7 years ago he was studying business and learning how to be an entrepreneur and today he is managing his side hustles.

CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK:
Find at least one person—friend, colleague, or a total stranger—and do something that lifts their spirits. It could be as simple as a heartfelt compliment or as bold as offering to help them tackle a problem.
Let’s end the year on a high note, spreading good vibes :)

Anyway… I don’t have much to say except thank you - like profoundly - genuinely - for reading my crazy thoughts and for taking them seriously, for writing back to me to tell me how much they mean to you.

Also, thank you for subscribing to this newsletter, which started just over a year ago as a silly experiment with under 1000 readers and has now grown to over 5000 subscribers tuning in each week.
To put that in perspective, that’s like filling Melbourne’s Festival Hall—a venue built for around 5,000 people—every time I hit send. It’s wild to think we’ve packed that place out together every week!

Not that I’m comparing, but a small band played there some years ago…

Have a great break, and see you in Feb sometime, we are heading off with the fam to Phillipines - never been - super excited… check insta if you want to see some pics.

Love,

Gus

P.S. If hearing about Kai and Yaz got you thinking, "I could use a push like that," then maybe it’s time you give yourself a break and a boost before the year wraps up.
The Shake Up! Experience is all about pulling your future toward you—just like they did.

Plus… next year, I’m hosting monthly private sessions exclusively for those who’ve joined the course, so if you’re feeling it, use code BF30 for 30% off until year’s end.

No hype, just an honest shot at starting next year with more direction. You in?
